Everything begins with the soil. Not all grasses are created equal and if you try to grow the wrong species, or variation of a species, in the wrong soil, then the results you may receive will be less than desirable. Suddenly the amount of time and maintenance it takes to keep a lawn somewhat healthy is more that should be required. 

One of our goals with your lawn is to make it as low maintenance as possible. There are certainly a few ways to achieve this. Our lawn experts will provide solutions if your soil and grass are not properly "paired" together. 

After the soil comes the amount of water and sunlight, pretty much equal in importance. Too much or too little of either or both is incredibly detrimental to the health of a lawn. Both are not impossible problems to solve.

In the case of water (too much or too little), irrigation and possibly inground sprinkler systems are the way to go. When it comes to sunlight (too much or too little) it can be addressed by, as with soil, choosing a grass that is better suited for your specific environment.
